Current Diversion pilot contracts will not impact a county’s ability to apply for this funding. This funding is intended to support long-term infrastructure for treatment of the FIST population through Diversion and CBR. Current pilot counties that would like to apply for infrastructure funding must submit a Letter of Intent to enter into a new contract agreement for a permanent Diversion and/or CBR program with DSH. DSH and the county can execute a permanent services contract even if a county is not ready to submit an infrastructure proposal by May 1 or if the county determines it does not need to apply for the infrastructure funding.
