The funding available through this opportunity is meant to purchase, build or renovate facilities so that DSH programs do not create additional strain on existing housing resources. If a county partners with a subcontractor to lease beds that do not require infrastructure funding, the county will need to utilize dollars from the Diversion or CBR permanent service contract with DSH to lease the beds. The funding offered through this program may not be used to pay rent on leased beds.
