Yes, a request for an extension of the period of performance in the Program Funding Agreement can be approved for an infrastructure project that requires more time to complete. However, the grantee should first make a reasonable effort to complete the project by June 30, 2028. If, after a reasonable effort is made, the project still cannot be completed by June 30, 2028, the grantee may submit a request to extend the period of performance. The grantee must provide evidence of steps taken to complete the project by June 30, 2028. DSH and AHP will take the evidence into consideration when reviewing the request for extension. Please note, all funds must be expended by June 30, 2028. Please ensure all requests for funds disbursement are submitted prior to the deadline.
