If a county behavioral health department is applying for the IST infrastructure grant, does the county still need a letter of support from the BHD director?

Yes. The county stakeholders required to provide letters of support are listed in the RFP. The list includes, County Superior Court representative, County District Attorney’s Office, County Public Defender’s Office (if one exists), County Administrator/Executive’s Office, and County Behavioral Health Department/Agency.

Research and consulting firm Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. (AHP) provides project management services to DSH for the process of awarding IST Infrastructure funding. Responsibilities include outreach, technical assistance, solicitation, selection, negotiation and contracting.
